Executive Coaching

Executive coaching is 100% focused on practical, measurable results through a ‘nowhere to hide coaching’. The coaching programme ensures that the client achieves results faster and with longer lasting impact than more traditional coaching approaches.

Sandra was certified through The Centre for Executive Coaching back in 2010. Under the stewardship of their founder, Andrew Neitlich, Sandra was trained in over 25 different executive insight tools and assessments to support leaders with whatever problem they face.

Examples of situations where coaching can add value include:

  • overcoming feelings of overwhelm and juggling multiple priorities
  • communicating powerfully
  • developing leadership presence
  • overcoming beliefs that might be limiting success
  • advancing careers
  • setting strategic direction and implementing strategic priorities effectively
  • engaging and mobilising employees
  • building a powerbase of strong business relationships
  • making things happen in complex, politically charged organizations
  • managing up successfully
  • collaborating effectively
  • influencing others with impact
  • thinking comprehensively about complex issues to achieve clarity and make sound decisions
  • developing a high-performing culture
  • leading high-performing teams
  • leading change effectively

Phase One: Assessments (Typically during the first 4-6 weeks of coaching)

360 Feedback (Optional)

An initial three-way conversation with the key stakeholder. Then a verbal 360-feedback process with up to 8 individuals who provide specific feedback (through examples) based on strengths, watch outs and next steps. A final typed up report is presented and discussed with client.

Other

Additional psychometrics / assessments – examples include Gallup Strengths Finder, Emotional Intelligence (Eqi), PXT Executive assessment, Values & MBTI. These tools provide a strong picture as to the client’s key strengths and the areas of adjustment. The outcome of this phase is a personal / leadership development plan.

Phase Two: Leadership Coaching

A blend of different types of coaching depending on the leadership goals:

  1. Behavioural coaching – shifting unhelpful behaviours, e.g. not speaking up in meetings
  2. Perceptual coaching – shifting beliefs that are holding clients back, e.g. imposter syndrome
  3. Situational coaching – working through specific situations such as gaining clarity through implementing a leaders dashboard, executing effectively (and many of the situations described above)
  4. Legacy coaching – identifying and aligning with the client’s core purpose, values, mission and talents.

Coaching is a blend of traditional face to face, virtual and experience led facilitation.
